Riverton Country Club has an immediate opening for a qualified Membership Marketing Director.
This position will report to the General Manager and work with the Membership Marketing Committee in the coordination and implementation of membership programs (recruitment and retention).
The Membership Marketing Director is responsible for all aspects of membership sales and marketing. He / She develops and executes the strategic sales and marketing plan to meet new member goals while also focusing on retention goals in association with the Club’s operating budget. This includes developing and implementing lead generation strategies, recruiting new prospective members and maintaining a sustainable database of prospective members. Focus on club communication is extremely important. Managing the process in which the club communicates with the members through email, social media or other outlets in a consistent fashion.
The Membership Director provides facility tours, entertains prospective members and host orientation events for new members and open house events for potential members. He/she plans his/her work schedule to be visible and accessible to members, their guests and participates in select club activities to represent and promote the Club. Candidates must be willing and able to work a varied schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with a professional presence, engaging personality, and excellent personal and technical communication skills. High energy, performance oriented marketing professional with proven experience of achieving results with specific goals are highly desired.
The ideal candidates will have a college degree or equivalent education and have experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the hospitality, private club and/or golf industries.
Compensation - will be commensurate to experience, with variable opportunity for increasing membership. Position also includes employee benefits and vacation package.
